Constructing the Temple

At Burning Man, the temple of Ishtar will be located in what is known as a "Theme Camp". We will establish a Temple of Ishtar camp. In this camp we will erect a tent main Temple. Surrounding the temple will be space for a communal kitchen and room for individual tents. We will have to bring everything we need including water, electrical generators, food, tents and ritual materials. Then we will have to bring it all home. One Burning Man tenet is "Leave No Trace".

The Main Temple tent will be 50 x 50 feet - large enough for many participants. The temple will have a carpeted floor and an entrance passageway that contains flowing water trough for cleaning (feet track desert playa dust everywhere at Burning Man - we'll attempt to keep the Temple very clean.)
